Partha Panda brings more than 20 years of experience in the IT and cybersecurity industry. Over the past decade, he has held a broad range of leadership roles at Trend Micro including partner (Trend Forward Capital), SVP of strategy and corporate development, VP of business development and global alliances, and VP of global channels.
Prior to that, he had leadership roles at Third Brigade (acquired by Trend Micro), Entrust, Encommerce (acquired by Entrust) and CMC Ltd. Partha holds an MBA degree from the Robert Smith School of Business at University of Maryland, a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from Sambalpur University, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designation.
Justin Foster leads the platform and technology teams at Cysiv, bringing over 16 years of experience in information security, including server security, cloud security, security analytics, and encryption. Previously, he had been responsible for leading cloud security sales and marketing for Trend Micro and spearheading product management for the leading hybrid cloud product line, Trend Micro™ Deep Security™.
Prior to that, he was a software architect at Third Brigade (acquired by Trend Micro). Justin is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and holds an Advanced Executive Certificate in General Management from the Smith School of Business at Queen’s University, a Marketing Strategy Certificate from Cornell, and PMC-III and CCSK certifications.
Kathleen Thomas brings more than 15 years of experience developing and managing highly functional and progressive financial organizations in the Semiconductor and Cybersecurity industries. As Cysiv CFO, Kathleen partners with the executive team and investors to increase the business’s overall value, provide financial and accounting leadership and contribute to the strategic direction of the company by providing sound strategic advice and ensuring company-wide financial execution.
Prior to joining Cysiv, she held leadership roles at high growth companies including Zimperium (a leader in mobile threat defense) and DeviceFidelity (acquired by Square Technologies). Kathleen holds an MBA degree from the University of Texas, a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from St. Edwards University, and is working toward her AWS Solutions Architect Certification.
George McTaggart is a results-oriented marketing professional that has spent over 25 years marketing a wide range of technology-based products and services, with a focus on enterprise software and security solutions for startups and large companies alike. Most recently, he was VP of global field enablement at Trend Micro where he led the education, events, partner program, and communications teams. He also held a range of senior marketing global roles (strategic alliances and the partner program) and regional roles (Canada business unit) at Trend Micro.
Previously, he was VP of marketing at Third Brigade (acquired by Trend Micro) and acted as a virtual VP of marketing for a number of tech companies. He also managed investor relations for some junior mining companies, as he began his career as an exploration geologist in the mining industry. George holds an MBA degree from the Richard Ivy School of Business of Western University and a Bachelor of Science, Honors in Geology from Queen’s University.
John Adams is the leader of the platform engineering team at Cysiv, and has over 20 years of experience in software and engineering development. Before Cysiv, John was the director of software engineering, security analytics for Trend Micro, where he helped build security products to protect global networks. As well, he was involved in enterprise collaboration platforms, user interface design, hardware design, mobile applications, reliable distributed systems, analytics, and data management.
Prior to Trend Micro, John was the director of software engineering at Avaya where he led the development of software applications that delivered a single user experience for cloud conferencing solutions, voice over IP, multi-stream video, and multi-media messaging. As well, John spent over 10 years at Nortel in multiple software engineering and architect roles.
John has a Bachelor degree of Applied Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering from Queen’s University.
Keith Foster is responsible for driving the people strategy and culture at Cysiv, and for ensuring the company continues to attract, engage and develop the best talent as it expands globally. With over 17 years of experience in technology and cybersecurity, Keith is passionate about shaping corporate cultures and strategic initiatives that help people, teams, and companies unlock potential to achieve success. Most recently, Keith was a Partner at Trend Forward Capital, and previously he held a range of senior people and HR roles at Trend Micro supporting regional (Europe) and global (product and field operations) teams. He also held HR roles at Thomson Reuters, LexisNexis Group, and CHEP.
Keith has a Master’s Degree from Rollins College, a Bachelor’s Degree from Hamilton College, and is a graduate of the Queens Executive Program - Smith School of Business..
Toby is a former IR / Intel analyst, and Blue Team leader within industry and the US Government. Toby drives the strategy, vision and implementation of cybersecurity-specific data science and behavioral analytics, and leads the Data Science, Data Engineering, and Detection Engineering teams at Cysiv. His passions are Purple Teaming, Detection Science, Windows logging, pragmatic ML, and context-aware AI.
Previously, Toby was the VP of Analytics Engineering at Forecepoint, and the head of their Behavioral Analytics Center of Excellence. Prior to that, Toby held roles at Trend Micro, Emerson Electric, US Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and was a US Army Officer. Toby holds a BS with Honors in Spatial Information Science & Engineering from the University of Maine.
Daniel Smith leads the implementation of Cysiv’s custom technology platform. Daniel has over 20 years of experience in developing security software, with experience including public key infrastructure, authentication, big data, cloud security, and applying machine learning to security problems. Before moving to Cysiv he was responsible for researching the impact emerging technologies will have on the Trend Micro™ Deep Security™ product. Prior to that he was the architect for Deep Security and helped launch the hosted Deep Security service.
Daniel graduated at the top of his class with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Carleton University.
Mark Chatoor leads product management for the Cysiv platform and is responsible for shaping and driving its roadmap. He works closely with our customers and partners, R&D, data science, SOC and sales and marketing teams to define, prioritize, and evangelize platform features.
Previously, he was head of Trend Micro professional services in the U.S. Prior to that, he worked as a product/program manager delivering strategic IT initiatives for 10 years in the financial services industry. Mark received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
Basiru Ndow manages Cysiv’s advanced, 24/7 security operations center (SOC) in Dallas. He has 20 years of both technical hands-on and managerial experience in building and managing security operations programs from the ground up. With this deep expertise, he is also actively involved in communicating with Cysiv customers to ensure they’re fully leveraging the capabilities of Cysiv SOC-as-a-Service and applying best practices.
Previously, he held SOC leadership positions at Citi and the NBA, was a senior managing security consultant at IBM, and he began his career as a security analyst at Parkland Health and Hospital System. Basiru holds SANS GIAC Intrusion Detection and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications, and he has a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from the Stevens Institute of Technology.
A computer scientist by training and entrepreneur by choice, Wael knows what it means to wear multiple hats. From being CEO of his own company (Third Brigade) to COO and President of his acquirer (Trend Micro), Wael has an innate understanding of what it means to take an idea from inception to global scale. Wael brings decades of experience working in information technology and cybersecurity, but his true passion lies in supporting entrepreneurs create jobs and change their communities.

As Trend Micro’s chief legal officer, Felix supports the board of directors and works with other members of the executive team, providing legal oversight and services for Trend Micro regional subsidiaries and operations. Felix also leads Trend Micro's global policy and compliance initiatives.
Prior to joining Trend Micro, Felix was a vice president and AGC at VeriSign. He had previously been a member of the Yahoo! legal team. Felix also served as senior law clerk to the Chief Justice of the Nevada Supreme Court immediately after law school. Before law school, Felix studied cognitive science and human factors division at NASA's Ames Research Center.
Felix holds a juris doctor degree from the University of California at Davis. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of California at Santa Cruz with honors in the major and completed the executive education programs at the Harvard Business School “Making Corporate Boards More Effective” and the Stanford Business School.
Daniel Nutkis is the founder and CEO for HITRUST. Mr. Nutkis has more than 20 years of experience in providing strategic advisory services in areas relating to health information technology. His recent focus has been on technologies that enable information protection and strategic business objectives. Prior to founding HITRUST, he held various positions with email encryption and e-prescribing service company Zix Corporation, including executive vice president of strategy, and president of care delivery. He was also with Ernst & Young LLP’s health care emerging technology groups as national director. He has led a number of industry research activities on eHealth vulnerabilities and has been a founding member of work groups and accreditations such as WEDI, CPRI and HISPP.
